GOD’S STORY AWAITS YOU!

The Story is a unique church that gathers every Saturday evening at 6:30pm in Mineral Springs, North Carolina.

A Saturday Night Church

One of the most unique features of The Story is that it is a Saturday night church. We meet every week at 6:30pm. Our congregational worship consists of five major pillars: Testimony, Prayer, Worship, the Word of God, and Fellowship.

Testimony

A service at The Story always begins with a time to share testimonies and praises for how God has moved in your life. This is always one of the most powerful parts of the service.

Prayer

The Story does not shy away from prayer. We pray at the beginning of the service, we ask for prayer requests, we pray for the offering, we pray for the message, we pray for YOU! We PRAY!

Worship

Contemporary or Traditional? The Story will use either types of music to exalt the name of Jesus! It is a blend of music almost every Saturday. We love new and old music that lifts up the name of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God

God’s Word must be preached to the ends of the earth. Every week, we hear the Word exposited in a unique way that challenges the wanderer to find their home, and convicts the believer to surrender more to Christ.

Fellowship

The Story is a very casual service. You come exactly as you are. We truly prioritize connection in The Story’s congregation. We have coffee and snacks in the back. We love to fellowship before, during, and after service.

We Love Evangelism!

Every week (unless it rains), you can find us holding up signs of God’s promises. Have you seen the people holding up signs in Mineral Springs, Monroe, or Waxhaw? That’s us.

We value prayer

  • We pray for our community and are available to pray with you.
  • We plant hundreds of seeds for the Gospel and we pray that God brings forth growth.
  • We pray for revival in this nation. That more people allow God’s Story to fill their lives.

We value boldness

  • Proverbs 28:1 says “…the righteous are bold as a lion.”
  • Mark 16:15 says “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
  • We are called to stand on the Gospel of Jesus Christ both in preaching and in love.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20
